Earlier last week Gary joined Julia Lee from Bell Direct on Sky Business Channel’s ‘Your Money Your Call’. Julia and Gary opened the show by analyzing the Australian market’s direction following the recent 7.7% decline, which has occurred over the last seven weeks, and the 78.6% retracement of the gains since the last high on 11 April.
Callers also quizzed Gary on stocks such as ECM, CUS, OCG, DJS, ORL, & VBA.
Julia and Gary also discussed the price of Gold and it’s dramatic rise over the last two years, the 38.2% retracement in the price of Iron Ore and the effect it has had on the Mid Cap stocks and indices, the sectors that are outperforming the All Ords, and the stocks to stay away from in the medium term such as JBH.
Gary also spoke about the use of CFD’s as a tool for short selling shares.
