For many years now I have been researching, coaching and writing to empower and skill people to achieve a better life and retirement through stock market investing.
For this blog post I thought I’d try something a little different and ask you to inform me about your long term investments for retirement.
Australian superannuation assets now total more than $2 trillion. When you add other long term investment funds the number of dollars invested is mind blowing. However, anecdotal feedback tells me that most Australians know very little about where and how their long term retirement funds are invested.
It is frustrating for me as an investment coach when I know that everyone is an investor through their Superannuation savings and yet most don’t put much conscious thought into what they are doing to better grow their retirement nest-egg.
To compound the problem, the investment industry does a poor job at reporting performance compared to what’s on offer and a good job of perpetuating the status quo. Consequently, most investors don’t have a clue as to how well their long-term investments are really performing compared to how much more they could grow. At Share Wealth Systems we know there are far better ways to invest for retirement.
Through the Investment for Retirement Survey I aim to find out more about how and why people invest the way they do rather than rely on anecdotal feedback. And to thank you for taking time to complete the survey you will go into the draw to win an investment package, valued at $2000. The winner will be chosen by myself based on the best answer to Question 6.
